Panerai Opens Its New Boutique At Tsim Sha Tsui Centre In Hong Kong
Panerai, the Florentine high-end luxury watchmaker, announces the opening of its boutique in Tsim Sha Tsui Centre Hong Kong, the urban area in southern Kowloon.
With its high-end shops, hotels and restaurants, Tsim Sha Tsui is a major tourist hub in metropolitan Hong Kong and provides tourist with exclusive and luxury shopping experiences. The boutique is 60 square metres and is the fifth opened in the Hong Kong area, after Landmark Prince’s boutique as Asia’s first Panerai boutique in 2002, Canton Road, IFC and Times Square boutique.
The concept of the design and materials used respects Panerai’s Italian tradition and stands as a clear reference to the underwater universe. The use of oak, veined Italian marble “calacatta luccicoso”, burnished brass, bronze and a special “reeded” glass, undulating and transparent, reinterprets the technical codes of the watchmaker, as well as the brass lights and sales counters with their wooden details recall the world of the sea and sailing ships.
